Gerhard Jannach

Gerhard Jannach is an expert in change management and multi-project management in medium-sized companies. Whether corporate strategy, investments, digitalization, ESG or research & development: Gerhard Jannach ensures the success of complex change projects not only through an optimal project structure, but also by involving the stakeholders from the very beginning. In doing so, he combines competencies as a leader, change manager and coach.

In one of his most recent mandates, he led the multi-project management for the greenfield introduction of SAP S4 in a chemical company with great success. Previously, he set up the multi-project management at the headquarters of a European market leader for construction materials. The implementation laid the foundation for transparent and appreciative cooperation among members of middle management, who had previously been stuck in strong silo thinking and behavior. At the market leader for innovative ventilation technology in the kitchen industry, he successfully acted as coach for the complex implementation of a portfolio of 120 projects in another mandate.

The interim manager’s clients benefit from his diverse experience as a project manager and change manager. Before becoming self-employed, Mr. Jannach was an authorized signatory and vice president at an Austrian company in the wood processing and chemical industry for many years, responsible among other things for research and development, innovation and quality management.

In change projects, Gerhard Jannach pays particular attention to the involvement of the affected stakeholders and the coaching of executives, in addition to sound technical planning and implementation. His extensive training in change management, coaching and agile project management helps him in this.

His training as a graduate engineer in process engineering predestines the interim manager as an expert in the process industry and in sustainability management (ESG).

The interim manager’s leadership style is characterized by the ability to communicate with all team members at eye level. He is accepted as a coach and valuable sparring partner as well as an impulse generator who inspires people to think outside the box. Through his many years of successful work as a manager in medium-sized companies, he has an excellent understanding of how to sustainably align people and teams towards jointly set goals.
