Achim Brünner is a sales professional with more than 20 years of experience in business development, strategy and leadership in B2B sales and marketing in the field of products and services requiring explanation in the capital goods industry. His focus is on the plant engineering, energy, water, decarbonization and sustainability industries.
With a strong commercial and international background, he always operates in networks with a national and European focus.
His customer and employee-oriented management is fully focused on the deal. Achim Brünner’s success is based on the consistent integration of people, processes, products, market access and business models. With modern management structures, digital tools and multi-/omni-channel communication, he brings sales, marketing and service to a profitable cooperation across departments.

Mr. Brünner has a proven sales track record at all management levels in the international B2B business. He is a business economist and lawyer. Since May 2024, he has been an associated partner of F&P Executive Solutions AG with his company. He is the owner and managing director of DeLoodsen GmbH, a consulting and interim management company specializing in business transformation.
His entry into the international project business was through commercial and legal quality assurance in international projects in the ITC sector at one of the world’s largest players in the IT and electrical industry. He initially started his career in sales in Germany. Various management positions led him via a European to ultimately a worldwide, cross-divisional central responsibility in the business development of a group business area with private and public clients. He has witnessed and helped shape the transition from product to solution business in both the ITC and TGA sectors and most recently in the energy and water industry. As Head of B2B Business Development and Sales Strategy at a large energy supplier, he supported the company in its transformation from centralized to decentralized energy supply. There is probably hardly a challenge that he has not come across in his business life.

In his private life, Achim Brünner is married, has a grown-up daughter and is involved in various activities. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Technical Academy North. He is also deputy chairman of the Hamburgischer Verein Seefahrt e.V. an association for the promotion of youth sailing on ocean-going yachts. He is a welcome speaker at corporate and social events and is strongly committed to young people and intergenerational exchange.
Mr. Brünner’s motto: stay the course – even on the long haul. Perhaps he takes this self-image from his passion as an ocean sailor and marathon runner. He can look back on several Atlantic crossings and marathons.
