F&P NewsZukunft Personal Europe 2024: Insights and inspiration for the future of work

Last week, F&P was represented at numerous exciting events. Associate Partner Jörg Thomas Hensel and Senior Partner Michael Weßling, we were on site in Cologne at Zukunft Personal. An impressive event to learn about new HR trends, experience innovations in artificial intelligence, digitalization and new work and network with international HR experts.

The key finding and confirmation of current developments: AI will continue to radically change the world of work and HR departments. In professional recruiting, for example, big data will increasingly replace the traditional “gut feeling” so that decisions are made based on data and no longer left to chance. The innovative Trendence HR Monitor has impressively visualized such trends for visitors.

The concluding, provocative keynote speech on the world of work in 2035 by futurologist Sven Gabor Janszky was particularly moving. According to him, demographic developments will lead to widespread full employment by 2035. Rising wages and greater bargaining power for employees could further promote flexible working models such as working from home, although many of these activities could already be taken over by AI by 2030 – a thought-provoking thesis.

Above all, the direct exchange with industry leaders and start-ups opened up new perspectives. Jörg Hensel sums up: “It was an exciting day for Michael and me with lots of valuable inspiration and good contacts with the key players.”

We look forward to incorporating the ideas into our HR projects and are excited about the upcoming developments in the HR world.
