F&P ExpertUlrike Tegtmeier

Ulrike Tegtmeier is a senior executive with many years of management and leadership experience, specializing in profit maximization, change management, restructuring, and growing companies under challenging market conditions.

Thanks to her many years of international experience, she has particularly in-depth knowledge of the markets in EMEA and APAC.

Her particular expertise lies in all aspects of employee development—as well as leadership, building and managing multicultural teams, and maximizing their potential.

She gained her first professional experience at Ericsson Information Systems in Düsseldorf, where she was responsible for establishing and managing a training center for the sales department.

She then decided to join the startup Deutsche Mailbox to help promote Germany’s first commercial email system by developing and managing a franchise concept. Her responsibilities included marketing, training, and public relations, in addition to sales.
From 1990 to 1998, she was head of the PC Peripherals division at Philips Consumer Electronics in Hamburg. In addition to many PC-related products, the division was primarily responsible for computer monitors, and the team significantly increased the market share for these products during that time. In her role, Ms. Tegtmeier was responsible for all areas of the company, including sales, marketing, product management, planning, logistics, and human resources.

From April 1998 to July 2006, Ms. Tegtmeier headed all international operations for Iomega, an American manufacturer of storage media, in Geneva. The consolidation of three business locations into a central headquarters, the launch of products developed in Europe, and continuous growth were some of the key factors behind the success of Iomega International SA.

From 2006 to 2008, Ms. Tegtmeier took on several freelance assignments in the area of post-merger integration and taught project management courses at WIFI in Vienna.

Starting in September 2008, Ms. Tegtmeier returned to Cisco Systems in Munich, where she once again served as head of international business. Restoring profitability and developing and expanding markets in Southeast Asia were key priorities during this period.

Ulrike Tegtmeier passed the state examination in English, Russian, and education at Philipps University in Marburg, as well as the state examination for teaching at high schools.
