Norbert Müller is an accomplished senior executive and technical expert in process optimization, turnaround management, restructuring and operational and strategic realignment. He has worked very successfully in senior positions, including as managing director, at internationally positioned group and medium-sized companies in various sectors – for example in the pulp & paper, consumer goods and building materials industries. Mr. Müller has regularly taken over companies or divisions in crisis situations and subsequently led them to profitable growth.

As an experienced Senior Director and Managing Director, Mr. Müller managed locations in North America and Europe. He managed up to 1,050 employees and was able to significantly increase both productivity and operating profit through operational excellence methods, cost reduction programs and the introduction of automation and digitalization.

As part of M&A projects, he was responsible for the implementation of due diligence processes and the successful post-merger integration of several plants. These projects included both business and organizational/technical harmonization.

Mr Müller’s focus is on sustainable corporate growth through process and product portfolio optimization, adaptation of the operating model and targeted investments along the entire value chain. His pronounced customer orientation, conceptual strength, hands-on mentality and leadership skills set him apart.

Mr. Müller studied electrical engineering at the Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg. He has regularly undergone further training in the areas of leadership and organization, business administration, change management and business excellence.

Mr. Müller enjoys going on private trips and regularly does sports to keep himself physically fit. He is particularly interested in the use of AI tools.

He has been a Senior Partner at F&P Executive Solutions AG since March 2026.
