For many years, the flagship of German industry, the automotive and supplier industry, was not only the largest client of the interim management sector, but also the largest German employer. The severe crisis can be seen in the falling share prices, company valuations and insolvencies and is currently dominating the economic summits that have been hastily convened.

Answers to the crises in the context of the considerable transformation were the core of the lectures and panels at the 13th International Symposium on Restructuring at the FH Kufstein Tirol (Institute for Cross-Border Restructuring)

Our partners Bernd Fischer and Jan Brandt experienced a day full of exciting presentations and discussions in idyllic Kufstein.

Highlights of the day:
Stefan Carsten showed us how flexibility and independence are revolutionizing our living spaces with his keynote speech “New mobility shapes new spaces”.
Philipp Stuetz and Alexander Kujumdshiev provided impressive insights into the restructuring of the automotive industry. The wave of supplier insolvencies is a reality, but how do companies master the dual transformation? Their strategies provided us with practical answers.
– The Turnaround Talk brought together exciting perspectives: How will mobility be organized in the future, and what does this mean for OEMs and suppliers? What social impact do we expect?

In short, the need for action in the automotive & mobility sector is greater than ever before. It is obvious that companies are in the midst of a deep industry crisis that is spreading like wildfire. However, alongside all the challenges, there are also immense opportunities. It is important to set the right course and consistently implement the key change measures.

At F&P, we offer interim managers and consulting experts with industry experience, operational experience, methodical expertise and strong leadership skills to help you overcome crises and emerge stronger from them.

Of course, networking was not neglected either – Bernd & Jan were able to maintain a valuable exchange with other restructuring experts, interim providers and interim managers. In particular, our partner Jan Brandt, as our industry expert and head of our “Automotive & Mobility” industry group, held numerous expert discussions on the current industry situation, options for action and support in a difficult environment.

A big thank you to Markus Exler and his excellent team, all speakers and sponsors. As expected, the symposium was sold out with almost 500 experts and was a complete success. We are already looking forward to next year.
