Frederik König is an expert in Project & Portfolio Optimization / Project Management Office (PMO) / Development Excellence / (Series) Start-up, Ramp-up / Business Process Optimization / Lean & Quality Methods.

He is characterized by his analytical and systematic approach based on the “Kepner-Tregoe” methodology, situation, problem, decision, risk and opportunity analysis. Thanks to his curiosity, creativity, resilience, style flexibility and calmness, he is a strong “team player” who enjoys taking on leadership responsibilities in a managerial and / or advisory position.

Mr. König was active for over 20 years as a project manager, start-up expert, director / division manager in innovative, internationally active industrial companies.

His expertise includes project and portfolio management, start-up and change management, innovation and development management, lean management, production systems (Mercedes-Benz & Toyota), development systems (Mercedes-Benz Development System), quality management, change management as well as controlling.

Thanks to his broad experience, process and method know-how, Mr. König has demonstrably created sustainable competitive advantages for many companies. He is a specialist in training project & portfolio, start-up, quality, innovation & development management as core competencies of the company.

He has already been successfully active as an interim manager, consultant and coach for international companies in the automotive, renewable energy, mechanical and plant engineering and medical technology industries since 2011.

Mr. König studied industrial engineering at the TU Hamburg-Harburg, the University of Hamburg, the Bergedorf University of Applied Sciences and the University of Bremen.

Since 2010, Mr. König has been a lecturer in the field of “Start-up Management” at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover, Faculty II – Department of Mechanical Engineering.

In his spare time, as a family man, he likes to be active in the water and in nature – he has been an enthusiastic swimmer since early childhood, practices traditional archery, is interested in history, and is a big fan of Lego / terminal bricks.

Since September, Mr. König has been an Associate Partner at F&P Executive Solutions AG.
